Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) requires a full asbestos survey for demolition permits, therefore we ensure we are sampling any building materials that could have a possibility of containing asbestos. Proposed demolition of any property requires a thorough inspection of interior and exterior building materials. We ensure to inspect beneath all floor layers, ceiling systems, inside walls, and exteriors of the homes. If any of the suspected sampled materials are confirmed through laboratory analysis to be asbestos-containing, abatement is required for a demolition project.
